Milena Georgieva, PhD, Professor at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Co-chair of STEAM and SPACE Atlantic Cluster. Milena Georgieva has specialised in Genetics and Epigenetics at the Curie Institute and the University of Strasbourg and in the Biology of Aging at the International Research Centre for Bioengineering. She is a member of several scientific organisations and an honorary member of the Advisory Board of M3 Communications Group, Inc. She is also a guest speaker at various scientific events and a speaker on the TED platform. In 2020, she co-authored the Health Shield Europe LINK strategy, which suggests NATO and EU policies minimising future risks of Covid-type pandemics.
